Tierra Village Staff Highlight: 2 New Faces!

Updated: Dec 14, 2022

We are happy to welcome 2 new members of the Tierra Village team, and more specifically, to Coyote House and TRAILS Day Program. These two individuals are distinguished in their experience and background, and we are truly blessed to have them in our organization. I'd like to give an introduction to both of them below:

Jennifer Hader

Jennifer is a recent transplant to Leavenworth. She has a background in the dental industry as well as extensive volunteer experience with Special Olympics skiing. Jennifer has a very kind and gentle demeanor that comes across immediately upon interacting with her. Jennifer has an extensive background in the medical field including work with an OB/GYN and several Dental Surgeons in California and Washington state. Jennifer is an avid skier and loved working with Dev. Disabled Adults so much at Special Olympics that she decided to apply for our open Care Partner position at Coyote House. We are ecstatic to have Jennifer on our team and look forward to having her with us well into the future!

Ethan Almeida

Ethan is a member of the graduating class of 2020 at Cascade High School. Ethan is one of those blessed people who knows exactly what he wants to do with his life at an early age. And, lucky for us, his passion is working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Ethan worked in the Special Ed. program at Cascade High School as a Teacher's Assistant. His reference letter from Cascade High School was as glowing a reference as we have ever laid eyes on here at Tierra Village. Just amazing. Ethan is working now as a direct caregiver in the community, in our TRAILS program, and is assisting on weekends in our residential program. Ethan is doing what he loves to do and that is who we want on our team. Welcome, Ethan!

With the recent departure of both Ryan Irvin, one of our Care Partners, and Eric Redrup, our Activities Coordinator, we are very pleased we were able to provide such high-quality new staff like Jennifer and Ethan. An organization is it's team members, and with this team, we are headed toward great things! Thank you for your support for this organization, dear reader, and keep on the lookout for more info coming out from us in the near future.

Cheers!
