TRAILS Day Program Facilitator
We are seeking to fill a position within our TRAILS Program approximately 30hrs per week. Training will be provided. This is a highly rewarding position as we support adults with Developmental Differences in reaching their highest potential in a rewarding and active environment.

 

The mission of Tierra Village is to provide a collaborative environment in which individuals with diverse abilities are partners in sustaining a healthy and balanced life through Education and Integration Opportunities. Tierra's belief is that staff and participants evolved successfully from a two-way partnership in which both parties can grow.

 

The TRAILS Day Program of Tierra Village provides adults with Developmental Differences with life skills education and practice through recreation/adventure, self-expression through the arts, and community involvement. The 30hr per week position will serve all aspects of TRAILS and Tierra Village, with an emphasis on expanding participants opportunities for greater health and well-being through education/awareness, hands-on learning, community involvement, and preventative interventions.

 

The TRAILS program is offered 9-4:00pm, up to 30hrs per week. Must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully pass DSHS background requirements and driving record.

Job Coach - Tierra Employment Services
We are seeking to fill a position within our Tierra Employment Services Program approximately 20+hrs per week. Training will be provided. This is a highly rewarding position as we support adults with Developmental Differences in reaching their highest potential in a rewarding and active environment.

 

The mission of Tierra Village is to provide a collaborative environment in which individuals with diverse abilities are partners in sustaining a healthy and balanced life through Education and Integration Opportunities. Tierra's belief is that staff and participants evolved successfully from a two-way partnership in which both parties can grow.

 

The TES Job Coach is responsible for supporting clients in exploring, seeking, obtaining, and maintaining a job. The Coach is responsible for in person coaching and documentation, with support from the Tierra Employment Services Coordinator 

 

The 20+hr per week position will serve all aspects of TES and Tierra Village, with an emphasis on expanding participants opportunities for greater health and well-being through education/awareness, hands-on learning, community involvement, and preventative interventions.

Hours of work can be flexible according to client need, currently 9:00AM-1PM Monday-Thursday. These hours may change as jobs are maintained.

 

Must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully pass DSHS background requirements and driving record.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following desired attributes:

Encourage clients’ personal growth in employment skills, fading from direct on-site support as soon as possible.

●Fulfill all requirements for training and annual Continuing Education hours.

●Complete reports, as required, and submit to the TES Coordinator or designee prior to deadline.

  • Must be organized and flexible.

  • Have good time management skills.

  • Should be well grounded in the use of computer technology to aid in reporting and productivity.

●Uphold the mission, vision, and code of ethics of Tierra Village.

●Represent each client and Tierra Village with professionalism and integrity.

●Maintain positive working relationships with all clients, managers, business partners, supervisors, and family members.
